There is a song
my ears are itching to hear
my throat is yearning to sing
whose chords my heart longs to beat
how they long to dance, my feet!
I've never heard it
but I know it
It is the song that draws me
Leads me from the valleys to the peak
if only the words I knew, I would speak!
Sing to me
a new song
Let me dance, dance forever
into the sky
and on my dying day
I will rise
to the tune of the glorious refrain
and at last
in perfect harmony
my voice will echo it again!
